Is it legal to get your license color copied?
I went to the ups store to get it copied before actually 3 times and they did it. I recently went up there and the guy told me it was illegal in the state of Georgia. I was thinking to myself bullshit, I’ve never heard of this before and I told him that I’ve done it plenty of times up there. Any ways I’ve done tons of research on the topic and have been able to find NO answers or proof that it is illegal. So does anybody know if it is legal or not o get it copied in Georgia? COLOR copied?

The State Department website recommends that you make and keep on hand a couple of color copies of your passport in case yours is lost or stolen. A notarized copy of your passport, called an "apostille," is useful in various legal contexts. That said, there are probably state and federal laws that prohibit making photocopies of identification documents for illegal purposes. So that there is no possibility of confusing your copy with the genuine article, reduce or enlarge the copy.
It probably wouldn’t hurt if you would stamp the word "copy" across it, either.
Plus it would be on regular printer paper. there’s no was its illegal. tell that guy to shove it and go to a diferent store.
