Looking for recommendation for color laser printer?
I’m fed up with my inkjet printer! And this is the second one I’ve had. They suck!
I’m intersted in getting a good quality, color laser printer at a fair price.
Any recommendations?
Why not try "HP Color Laserjet 1600"? It won;t cost you more than 180 Euros
how do i change ink colour on lexmark inkjet 730 printer as it prints green?
I have instaled a lexmark inkjet printer which prints in green. How do i change colour options? as i have been all over lexmark sight with no answers to a simple task.
What is it printing in GREEN – text or pictures – how many ink carts are fitted.
If you only have a printer with one ink cart – the colour of text will be ‘greenish’ because it is trying to make black from Cyan, Magenta and Blue
I don’t know this printer to be honest but you should also have a print test page function – it should print out a page with all the colours showing – and if the inkjet nozzles are clear – if they are blocked up – it may be part of the problem
Has anybody know about Secajet compatible color inkjet cartridges for Canon Printer ?
Canon Printers, founded in 1989, published a document shortly after they bought over "Secajet" that they would not be able to provide all the colors of the rainbow anymore, instead it would just be Green, Pink, Orange and Yellow as the "Cokulove" isn’t enabled.
There is a company in the UK that can change those available colors into true-color by flashing the "boab" online at "www.flashtheboab.com".
Please keep me up to date with your progress
Why is my printer not printing true to color?
My printer is a HP 1100 Series Inkjet printer and the color cartridges are 2 to 3 years old. They are the original cartridges; could that be the reason for the colors not being true?
The color cartridges are so old some of the colors have probably already dried out.
There is a use-by date on the hp cartridges, usually abt 2 yrs from the date you buy it.
Best Wide Format Inkjet Photo Printers for Print Shops
If you are a professional in the printing business, you may very well be looking for a high-qualify wide format inkjet photo printer. Although there are a number of choices on the market, you’ll find that a few possess features which are going to give them an advantage and which would be an excellent choice for your specific needs. Below are some details of those different printers.
HP Z3100
This Hewlett Packard model is one of the most popular printers. For one, the printer is fairly easy to use. It comes with a great deal of documentation to make problem solving a cinch. Additionally, the HP is extremely fast at handling print jobs. In fact, the HP’s speed is about double that of the Epson’s (see below). However, when it comes to color, the HP can provide some great color but there are some weaknesses in the palette. Orange colors aren’t quite as vibrant, for example, while the yellows look amazing.
Epson Stylus Pro 9800
While the Epson does have a good deal of documentation to help users get a feel for the equipment, it doesn’t come close to the amount found with the HP. As mentioned above, the Epson is also about half as fast as the HP model. When it comes to the color delivery though, Epson printer is about equal to that of HP’s. The difference is in which colors are the most vibrant. For instance, the Epson model seems to have much more realistic green colors.
Xerox 8264E
While Xerox is a more common name for copiers, the company does a great job of producing wide-format color printers that can deliver exceptional results. Not only does the Xerox model do its magic quickly but the equipment has been specifically designed to be eco-friendly and to minimize ink usage. That means you’ll actually save money while also helping to save the planet. You won’t find that type of benefit if you choose the HP or Epson printers.
Canon ImageProGraf IPF5100
Finally, you can’t discuss amazing graphic printing without mentioning at least one Canon product. In fact, Canon produces several wide-format printers for a variety of needs. One of the nicest part of the printer is that it uses a 12 color system which can provide a wide range of brilliant shades and hues in the printed documents. The printer comes with automatic recalibration to make sure you get the best results every time you do a print job. This Canon model also works well with some of the top photo-related software, such as PhotoShop, which could be extremely useful for print shops.

Can I use gloss inkjet photo paper in a colour laser printer ?
Is there any reason why I can’t use glossy photo paper for an inkjet printer in a colour laser printer ? If not, what kind of photo paper can I use ?
No, Use photo paper designed for laser printers
The inkjet prints by spraying ink onto the paper
laser printers use laser light to charge areas of the paper then toner sticks to these charged areas then is fused to the paper by a very hot roller called a fuser
color printer- inkjet or laser?
I’m shopping around to buy a color printer. Are there a great difference in quality of injet and laser? And can anyone recommend a printer which is affordable?
I’m mainly going to print small signs for special needs children once in awhile a month.
Thanks!
You can buy HP Photosmart C4680. It costs around 70$ in Bestbuy and even in amazon.
All the best!
Liquid Inkjet Printers
Among all of the printers that are available in the market today, the most preferred and purchased type of printer is the liquid inkjet printers. It is used for a number a different purposes from printing out essays to complete brochures and newsletters. It is found in residential homes, business establishments, academic institutions, government offices and non-profit organizations.
What is a liquid inkjet printer?
Liquid inkjet printers are those that use nozzles to spray miniscule droplets of colored ink from the cartridge onto the paper’s surface. There are two kinds of liquid inkjet printers depending on the printer head used. The first is the fixed-head type. This kind of inkjet printer has a built-in printer head which is designed to last the entire lifespan of the printer.
The second type of liquid inkjet printers are those equipped with a disposable head. This means that each time that the ink cartridge needs to be replaced the printer head would need to be replaced as well. This makes this kind of inkjet printer more costly.
Common brands of liquid inkjet printers
The most common and most popular liquid inkjet printer brands in the United States today are:
Hewlett-Packard
Canon
Epson
Brother
Xerox
Lexmark
Advantages of liquid inkjet printers
They are much quieter than dot matrix printers
Liquid inkjet printers are able to print fine quality images similar to that of a photo printer with the ability to print text documents as well, unlike most photo printers
Liquid inkjets are able to print documents and images faster because it does not have to warm up
Highly cost-effective. Newer models now allow you to purchase ink cartridges by the color. This means that you only need to replace whichever ink cartridge is empty and then use the remaining cartridges. Some liquid inkjet printer cartridges being sold today are designed to be refillable. When a cartridge runs out of ink, you can simply refill the cartridge with inks that are available in most office and school supply stores. These ink refill kits are cheaper than buying completely new liquid inkjet printer cartridges.
Disadvantages of liquid inkjet printers
There are a few disadvantages of using liquid inkjet printers as well. The first is that most liquid inkjet printers that are now out in the market today are equipped with very fine nozzles that are prone to clogging. Although these printers come with the capability to clean the nozzles, this cleaning process uses up a significant amount of ink.
Another reason is that liquid inkjet printer use inks that are water-soluble. They are prone to smear, blot and even be damaged when it comes in contact with even just a minute drop of water, completely ruining your printed works.

Are there any good inkjet printers that are good for home and school use purposes?
I am looking for a color inkjet printer that is a maximum of $100.
Also, I am looking for one that that is cheap on ink, also a one that is efficient on ink.
I prefer a printer from Cannon or HP.
I do not want a printer that doesn’t print if yiy do not have any color ink left, or prints with color even if you choose grayscale(Black and White).
The below low cost options for professional quality printing and the Best Advice unless you like spending good money buying expensive inkjet cartridges, if I were in your shoes I would simply look for an older Hewlett Packard (HP) Laserjet Printer like one from the HP Laserjet 4 or 5 series, HP 2100 or 2200 series etc. however NOTE unfortunately none offer color printing. As you know the print quality for any papers or documents you have to submit is TERRIFIC and all the drivers are still readily availble on-line for download.
Like someone else suggest I actually saw some GOOD WORKHORSE HP LASERJET 4 printers on sale for $12.00 on CRAIGLIST which caught me by surprise me…since I personally own like 4 Hewlett Packard black & white HP Laserjets that I paid from a free-gift away, $35, $65 and like $1,500 <= years ago brand new.
Naturally I don’t need any more but where I saw it was on my local CRAIGSLIST under the FOR SALE category then COMPUTERS. What happened was Seller bought a huge lot of commercial HP Laserjet printers on few pallets and simply did not have storage.
Just be PATIENT if you didn’t see any under a wildcard search or maybe POST YOUR OWN CL Inquiry in 2 places under WANTED and COMPUTERS but most likely all you will attract is people dumping inkjet printers.
EBAY COMPUTERs might be another Good Buy to find a good laserjet printer, but do yourself a favor and SEARCH BY CLOSEST DISTANCE bec S&H will certainly be costly. Also genuine unopened HP toner lasts forever and never dries up, and with patience can be bought for like $25 or more and one toner cartridge can easily last a full year.
Hope the Above Info Helps!
